Phil Todd. P J Todd, Garden & Landscape Services was established back in 1988, in Flixton, Urmston, Manchester.

Whilst still at school in the 1980’s I was already growing my own vegetables and flowers and learning valuable advise from my very keen and knowledgeable friends from the Allotments 

At the age of 14 I was tendering my own 3 allotments growing everything from potatoes, beans, peas, courgettes and selling my ever amounting produce to my local greengrocer on Moorside road  carrying it all using my wheelbarrow!

At the age of 15, i was probably one of the youngest to be elected to be on the committee by my friends on the allotments, this further fuelled my passion of my job, having the privilege of looking after the general upkeep of the site.

Also at 15 years old,  i was asked would I be interested in looking after a few gardens around the Urmston area, my business was about to start….

After Leaving school at the age of 16 I studied Horticulture full time at Wythenshawe College, my business was forever growing working long hours during the evenings and weekends and still tendering my allotments!

Since then my business has come along way, From studying my diploma in Landscape design at Reaseheath College, Northwich, Ive had the privilege of helping with the design and construction of a ‘Back to Back’ garden at the Royal Horticultural Show at Tatton Park back in 2005, and we won a gold medal!

Ive also had the opportunity to work on Garden makers for ITV, turning a garden around in less then a week

Since i set up my business my philosophy in life is always to be the best at my work,
